REGULATIONS

​

The Miss Fuller Woman Competition reserves the right to refuse entry to any applicant.

​

  • Each contestant must wear a dress size of 10/12  or greater

  • Each contestant must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident

  • Each contestant must be at least 18 years of age

  • Contestants may be single, married, divorced or widowed

  • All prior felony convictions must be declared and entry must be approved by the Board of Directors. Failure to do so will result in immediate dismissal from the MFWC and loss of any fees, titles, and/or prizes awarded.

 

COMPETITION CATEGORIES

 

PRE COMPETITION PARTICIPATION

Once you have been accepted as a contestant the competition begins.  You will be judged on your attendance to events, rehearsals, participation, how you follow/take directions, willingness to learn, personality, social media interactions, etc.  Contestants must at all-times carry themselves with dignity, poise and sophistication and be fully aware that they are always being monitored. 

Pre Participation Competition

Attendance to all events, participation, openness, ability to learn, your appearance, apparel choices, behaviour and communication skills, etc.

Pre Participation Competition Scoring

This counts for 25% of your score. The judges decision is final.

PRE PRIVATE INTERVIEW

Each delegate will engage in a maximum ten minute interview with our committee members.  The interview will begin with a maximum 30 second self-introduction. The body of the interview will be a combination of questions from information provided on your fact sheet as well as panel created questions.  The interview concludes with an additional 30 second opportunity to make a final statement to the panel as to why you should become the 2024 Miss Fuller Woman Queen as well as any additional information you believe the committee members to know about you that was not covered in the interview itself.  All delegates must possess excellent conversational and interpersonal skills; she must be able to express herself with clarity and diplomacy as well as exude a friendly and inviting personality.

Preliminary Private Interview Attire

Please wear professional attire for the interview competition.

Preliminary Private Interview Judging Criteria

Conversational skills, personality, character, knowledge of platform, current events, grooming and a fashion sense.

Preliminary Private Interview Scoring

Interview counts for 15% of your score. The panel decision is final.

 

MISS PHOTOGENIC COMPETITION

At a scheduled time each contestant will pose for a series of photos including both head and full length shots.  These photos will be taken by our official photographer and judged by our panel of judges consisting of photographers and committee members. The judges decision is final.

 

THE PEOPLES'S CHOICE 

The People's Choice is chosen through an online competition. Contestants will have a mini bio and a photo available online for their supporters to place their votes, the contestant with the most votes will be awarded People's Choice. This decision is final.

 

CORONATION NIGHT COMPETITION

The Talent/Creative Competition

Talent may consist of singing, dancing, poetry reading, etc. Contestants are required to bring their own instruments, CD/music, dancers, etc.,  props are allowed.  This competition is judged based on on-stage presence, originality and difficulty of routine.  Talent acts must not exceed 4 minutes. For safety reasons we will not allow acts that include hazardous materials.

Swimwear/Beachwear/Resort Wear/Activewear Competition

Contestants have the option of showcasing swimwear, beachwear, resort wear or activewear in this category.  Attire  must be tasteful and not provocative as well as showcase the contestants creativity and personality.

 Modeling ability, stage presence, personality, poise and grace.

This counts for 10% of your score. The judges decision is final.

 

Evening Gown Competition

All delegates must exude grace, poise, elegance and sophistication. Judges will be evaluating the gown and how well it suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as well as the delegate’s on-stage presentation.  Evening gown must be floor length.  Sophistication counts! All delegates are permitted to wear the evening gown of their choice.

This counts for 15% of your score. The judges' decision is final.

 

Final Interview Question

These are randomly selected questions. The delegate to the best of her ability should answer clearly with conviction and honesty.

SPECIAL AWARDS AND PRIZING

The following awards will be handed out at coronation, the winners will be announced and awarded.

Miss Runway Diva, Miss Fitness, People's Choice, Best Talent, Most Improved, Best Dressed, Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality

​

The contestant with the overall highest scores including the pre and coronation night competitions, will be crowned and gain the title of Miss Fuller Woman Queen 2024.  In the event of a tie, the contestants who have tied will be asked to answer a final on-stage question, the winner will be determined by our panel of judges based on her answer.  The judges' decisions is final.
