CODE OF CONDUCT

​

The Miss Fuller Woman Competition reserves the right to refuse entry to any applicant.

​

  • Each contestant must wear a dress size of 10/12  or greater. 

  • Each contestant must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident

  • Each contestant must be at least 18 years of age

  • Contestants may be single, married, divorced, or widowed

  • Delegates may represent the province or territory in which they live in, were born in, hold property in, work or attended school in.

  • All prior felony convictions must be declared and the Board must approve entry. Failure to do so will result in immediate dismissal from the MFWC and loss of any fees, titles and/or prizes awarded.

 

​As a participant in the Miss Fuller Woman Competition, you are expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct both on and off the stage. By participating in the Miss Fuller Woman Competition, you agree to abide by this code of conduct and understand that failure to do so may result in consequences, including disqualification from the competition. Let us strive together to uphold the values of integrity, respect, and inclusivity that define this esteemed event. Your behaviour reflects not only upon yourself but also upon the competition and the values it stands for. To ensure a positive and respectful environment for all involved, the following code of conduct must be adhered to:

 

Professionalism and Respect:

  • Contestants are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, dignity, and respect at all times.

  • Refrain from engaging in any discriminatory behaviour, harassing, or derogatory towards others based on their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic.

  • Treat fellow contestants, staff, judges, and audience members with respect, courtesy, and kindness.

 

Public Behaviour:

  • Contestants represent the Miss Fuller Woman Competition both on and off the stage. Behaviour in public spaces should uphold the values of the competition, exhibiting grace, poise, and integrity. 

  • Maintain a demeanour that is dignified, gracious, and reflective of the values of the competition.

  • Refrain from engaging in any behaviour that may bring disrepute to yourself or the competition, including but not limited to public displays of aggression, vulgarity, or indecency.

 

Alcohol and Illegal Drug Consumption:

  • Consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs during competition events, rehearsals, or public appearances is strictly prohibited. Contestants found under the influence will face immediate disqualification and may be subject to further consequences.

  • Consumption of alcohol is permitted only in moderation and only in designated areas where it is legally allowed and provided by the competition organizers.

  • Illegal drug use is strictly prohibited. Any participant found to be using or in possession of illegal drugs will be immediately disqualified from the competition and may face legal consequences.

 

Social Media Usage:

  • Contestants are responsible for their online presence and must use social media platforms respectfully and responsibly.

  • Avoid engaging in online disputes or controversies that may reflect negatively on you and the competition.

  • Use of social media should be done responsibly and with consideration for the reputation of the competition.

  • Refrain from posting any content that could be considered offensive, inappropriate, or damaging to the competition’s image.

 

Dress Code:

  • Contestants must adhere to the prescribed dress code and grooming standards set forth by the competition organizers. Clothing should be tasteful, modest, and appropriate for the occasion.

  • Dress in a manner that is appropriate for the occasion and reflects the elegance and sophistication of the competition.

  •  Avoid wearing attire that is overly revealing, provocative, or otherwise unsuitable for a public event of this nature.

 

Sportsmanship:

  • Display good sportsmanship at all times, whether winning or losing, both on and off the stage.

  • Congratulate fellow contestants on their achievements and maintain a positive attitude throughout the competition. 

  • Support and encourage your fellow participants, regardless of the outcome of the competition.

Fair Play:

  • Contestants must compete fairly and ethically, refraining from any actions that may compromise the integrity of the competition.

  • Cheating, sabotage, or any form of dishonest behaviour will result in disqualification. 

 

Health and Well-being:

This competition can become intense. You will be pushed to your limits at times. Contestants are encouraged to prioritize their physical and mental well-being throughout the duration of the competition. Seek assistance from competition staff if experiencing any health-related concerns.

 

Representing Diversity:

Embrace and celebrate diversity in all its forms. Respect cultural differences, individual beliefs, and personal backgrounds among contestants, judges, and audience members

 

Compliance with Rules:

Contestants are required to familiarize themselves with and abide by all rules and regulations outlined by the Miss Fuller Woman Competition organizers. Any violations of the competition rules may result in disciplinary action, up to and including disqualification from the competition.

By participating in the Miss Fuller Woman Competition, contestants agree to adhere to this code of conduct. Failure to comply with any of the above provisions may result in penalties, including but not limited to disqualification from the competition.
